"JOINT VENTURE" is powered by a pair of 425 HP 8v71 Detroit diesels that have only 1300 hours on full rebuilds. Ships power is supplied by an 8KW Onan Generator.

The engine room space is well lit and offers plenty of access around the machinery.

The master stateroom on this 46 gives new meaning to the term Comfort. The berth is a custom king sized mattress, hanging lockers throughout, and a full en-suite head with separate stall shower. Across from the Master to starboard is the guest head and shower.

All the way forward is the guest Stateroom that is arranged in an over-under bunk configuration with a large counter and hanging lockers to starboard.

Stepping inside from the cockpit is a very large salon with opening windows for light and curtains for privacy. There are 2 large built-in sofas with storage underneath on both sides, and a Hi-Low table for dining. Forward to Port is a drink Fridge, and up on the forward counter is a large flat screen TV that can show entertainment or information from the Furuno equipment on the bridge and is easily visible from the cockpit. On the starboard wall is the control for the 160 Amp Magnum Energy Charger/Inverter. The Climate control system has been upgraded to a modern Cruiseair reverse cycle heat and Air Conditioning unit.

Stepping forward and down, you will find a large functional Galley that has been updated with modern appliances. To Starboard is a Stainless Steel Refrigerator-Freezer, Forward is a 3-Burner electric range with oven and above is a stainless steel microwave. There is ample storage throughout and a Sony Stereo system for music.

This 46' Hatteras has an enormous cockpit for ample fishing space. There is a custom 4 scoop cockpit bait tank for plenty of bait on long trips. This boat has fished all over Baja, including Guadalupe Island. To port and forward is a full cockpit helm, and outboard of that is a huge tackle storage and rigging station. Fresh and saltwater washdowns are also installed.

Moving forward, there is a pair of Precision Marine, Hawaiian style outriggers on "maximizers" for a wide lure spread. Access to the bow is safe and secure with West Coast rails extending to the cockpit.

Up on the bow are 2 large fiberglass storage boxes for fenders, lines, and anything else that needs a secure dry space. All the way forward is a large bow bait tank for even more bait capacity. The Pulpit is very sturdy, and the large Lewmar Windlass makes anchoring easy regardless of conditions.

The Flybridge on "JOINT VENTURE" offers excellent visibility of the entire boat, and features updated electronics as well. There is excellent seating for guests and the boat features superb handling.

Navigation and fish finding is handled by a full Furuno Electronics suite, featuring a 4 KW open array radar, 1KW sounder, Chart plotting and both VHF and 2 Meter communications. There is a dedicated Si-Tex Sea temperature gauge as well.
