Riviera’s top selling model for several years, the 47 Convertible splits the difference between fishing and cruising by combining a cockpit big enough for serious fishing and the

interior accommodations for up to three couples. Like all Riviera models, the 47 rides on a modified-V hull whose solid fiberglass construction includes a watertight collision bulkhead forward and separate compartments throughout the hull. Notably, the 47 is one of just a few convertibles under 50 feet to feature three private staterooms. The galley-up floorplan includes a dinette to starboard as well as leather salon seating, quality galley appliances, and built-in entertainment center. A transom livewell, tackle center, transom door, and fish box are standard in the cockpit. Topside, an L-shaped lounge and table are forward of the helm console. Additional features include overhead rod storage in the salon, Corian galley counters, and truly exceptional range.

Boat is located in San Jose Del Cabo Mexico, vessel held in a corporation and has potential slip transfer availability. New listing, additional photos and details to follow. Contact the central listing agent for more info.

Rivierau2019s Millennium 40 Flybridge may hold the record for the greatest number built, yet two generations of the 47 Flybridge combined saw several more boats built, so she may hold the accolade as one of the firm favourite Riviera models.

The open saloon was an entertaineru2019s dream. The large U-shape galley on the port side included a two-burner electric cooktop, round stainless steel sink and moulded drainer, under-bench convection microwave oven and drawer fridges. An L-shape dinette opposite could comfortably accommodate five adults. An L-shaped lounge and ottoman aft of the galley faced an entertainment unit with flat-screen TV, sound system, glassware drawers and a bar fridge.

The accommodation deck, three steps down from the galley, included the master suite forward with its queen walk-around bed, lockers on either side and twin wardrobes as well as a flat-screen TV. An en-suite bathroom was in the aft port quarter. The second stateroom amidships on the starboard side provided a double bed, plenty of storage and immediate access to the second bathroom that included a second access door in the corridor. The third cabin opposite was equipped with pullman-style bunks.

The flybridge maintained the Riviera style, with aft starboard side helm with companion seat, L-shaped lounge around a GRP table forward and a wet bar and second lounge for two adults along the port side.

The Generation II model maintained the successful layout, adding improvements to the running surface of the boat with propeller tunnels u2013 allowing a shallower shaft angle and thus better performance u2013 and underwater exhausts that would reduce noise.

Standard power aboard the Riviera 47 was twin Cummins turbo diesel engines rated to 660 hp each.

Together, the 47 and 47 G2 models, 292 boats were built over 10 years in production.
