The Bertram 35 was built on the timeless foundation of the original 31s. Each hull is infused with 100% vinyl ester composite and designed with pocketed propellers, enormous cockpit space, and equipped with a Seakeeper gyro stabilizer, Subzero refrigerators, Fusion stereo system, and a bow thruster – all as standard equipment on each boat. No other boat in this class meets the criteria of the Bertram 35′, a boat as luxurious and elegant as it is rugged and durable.

The stunning interior is brought to light by a full panoramic, frameless glass window, leaving the space open and bright. Deck and Flybridge
The 35 convertible features a large 126 sq. ft. cockpit, equipped with a 30-gallon live bait well with aquarium view (option to convert into fold-out bench seating), transom door with top life gate, and port/stbd. insulated fish boxes, plumbed for a crushed ice maker. Port and starboard engine boxes feature cushioned chaise lounge seating, with removable backrests, and a single hydraulic engine box hatch, allowing standing access to a Mase generator and Seakeeper gyro stabilizer.
The spacious flybridge is equipped with three Pompanette P2000 helmseats, dual lever main engine controls, an insulated drink box/storage compartment, 7″ color displays, two speakers and fusion stereo, and a stainless steel Ongaro tournament steering wheel. The flybridge layout allows the captain to see beyond then bow, making the 35′ an easy boat to maneuver and dock, single-handedly.
Interior
A sliding aluminum salon door offers access to the enclosed cabin. Once inside, you’ll enjoy a 360 viewof the horizon, through the near military-grade, panoramic salon window. To port is a custom-teak, dinette table (equipped with a double berth filler), accompanied by cushioned U-shaped seating, with easy access to storage behind and underneath. The starboard galley features Corian countertops, an oversized stainless-steel sink with hot/cold functions and Corian countertop cover, a two-burner induction cooktop, microwave oven, SubZero double drawer refrigerator/freezer. Each compartment modernized with a soft close mechanism. The spacious layout provides the comforts of a liveaboard cruiser, with the necessities required for serious fishermen.
Amtico flooring runs throughout – complimenting the contemporary, sleek interior, designed for low maintenance. Boaters can spend more time making memories on the water, and less time caring for the interior. The open stateroom layout allows for a spacious live aboard, with the option to deploy a privacy enclosure, conveniently located inside the cedar-lined hanging locker. Storage is abundant with over-head designer cabinetry port to starboard, and integrated storage beneath the offset queen berth. The stateroom is equipped with a 24″ LED Smart TV, GFCI receptacles with USB outlets, and LED overhead lighting on dimmer switches. The large wet-head/offers hot/cold shower functions, Corian countertops and a porcelain sink – with storage below and throughout mirrored cabinetry.
Performance
Twin engines power this battlewagon, complete with vibration dampening isolators, sound absorption insulation, Twin Disc gears, engine driven alternators, dual Racor filters and custom exhaust. Engine room LED lighting allows captains and mates to work below in any environment. Every hull comes standard with a Seakeeper 6 gyro stabilizer. Lenco trim tabs keep the boat at a desirable angle. In addition, propspeed coated running gear, allows the boat to maneuver through the water at top-speed.
Construction
The molded deep-vee fiberglass hull, deck, and FRP components are infused with 100% vinyl ester composite using advanced techniques and technologies. The hull is reinforced with Kevlar and strengthened with Keel and strakes running through the centerline in a structural grid. The added support in the 35 ensures the durability and longevity of each hull. Advanced engineering allows for a 22-degree deadrise and a shallow 2’6″ draft.
